I'm a proud e-biker. Its like being young and fit again plus you can bomb the downhills. Best six grand I've spent in ages.

I've ridden a couple of road ones too ranging from fun (Pedego) to terrifying (unrestricted conversion capable of 80kph)

I was blown away by a bloke who ripped past me while I was driving in a 70k area...I could not believe, initially, that it was actually a glorified pushbike...I had to match his speed just to find out how fast he was going...80+...fucking cool, I thought...and silly...

mine is governed to 32kph. But even me with my aged chicken legs can spin it up to that on the flats (on three inch wide mtb tyres).

nine grand would own it, maybe less. And given its the watershed first year in good condition, I think park it for ten years and make some cash on it. Early GSXR's, 93 CBR900RR etc.

Yeah I was going to say it's the right model. Blue was more popular initially but my money would be on the White and Red one.

..... and a silver space suit so you could look like Scott Russell at the launch. Rather unamused.

You can derestrict them, but it voids the warranty.

"don't want to sell but due to circumstance."

I.e. wife wants me to sell, so I'll put an outrageous price on it so it won't sell .

I note the price is 10k now ....

I just saw similar on an item I've been keeping an eye on. Each week the buy now seems to go down by $50.

The guy is running a Dutch auction.

Heavy and slow on the turns, not as good for jumping.

Not my experience, haven't ridden one. I watch a lot of the vids on YouTube though.
