Strange that they left the std blue tank on it. Wouldn't want to front up for a WOF on it and try explain away the lack of indicators on a 1980s bike, let alone interesting lights and guards. Bet it's not quiet on either side.

Already sold, but Jesus man, 4 min more effort might have presented the bike more professionally (rather than like he was walking past and decided to sell it and posted it up while driving to the pub) and maybe netted a bit more. Then again, no airbox on dirtbike is a clue to what sort of munter owned it.
And that he wants to evade TM fees because he feels it should be a free service.

Yamaha were pretty bold releasing that bike. I suppose he feels it would be churlish not to be as brazen.
Bit impressed that a 1600 Vtwin made it to 100k. Engineer's were not taking long lunches there.

When I was in the shop one of the Yam H.O. types turned up on one. It had Akropovic pipes IIRC. For such a big twin the throttle response was astounding, and the sound . . . .
