And lighting underneath.....It'd probably make a good garden feature with the lighting and that paint.
Aww, there should be a rule that you get every dollar back you spend on a vehicle including tyres you've worn out and petrol you've burned.
Don't you look at my accountant.

I think you'd be pretty optimistic if you thought this collection of rusty parts could ever be reassembled into a motorcycle even after extensive repairs and finishing.
I did a quick search and 50s red hunters gather about $16kNZ in UK.

I think what he has here is a collection of parts a restorer might be keen on. For the right price. And this cant be it.
Maybe this was what he was left with after he restored the good one.

yeah i had a 20's indian scout about thirty years ago and that was leftovers of leftovers, and with a spare frame there was a second one in the making, if it was a 500cc it would be more viable, it's simple not that safe riding a 350cc bike of this era on most roads these days.
I was thinking more of trying to track down the last 35 parts that were missing or plain unfixable. Freight is a killer buying individual parts on EvilBay and sellers have cottoned on to the fact that restorers in the honeymoon period will pay any silly amount to get that last in the world remaining left hand farthing tube.
. . . Before they lose all faith and 11 years later pour out the contents of 2 leaky garages onto the ground, take some pictures and advertise it for $8000.
I have no real appreciation of how slow a 350 from the 50s is. I used to ride all around on my RG50 including the Kiwi 6 times. Never was a feeling of being in danger. Was 20 years ago. Do you think it would be slower than that?
Would think the brakes would be more concerning.
But how viable a bike is as a roadbike would affect how often you would ride it. If I ever finish my Stinker I do wonder after a brief flurry of Lookatme, how often I'll say, Over the hill? Hmm. I'll take that one today.
That said, the RG got taken to rallys when there was always an IL4 or two as an alternative, so who knows?
