How do you recondition a saddlebag like that? Although looks pretty good. Too good?

A good $4-5k too much me thinks.![]()
... *sigh* ... looks like ill be putting a bike on the market with a very Optimistic price... bought back my old 500 turbo and have had to spend a bit on it to bring it up to ridable status (was sold to me as still mint and a great runner... yeahhhh na, no bike likes to sit in a shed for 13 years... Graham Crosby recently sold one for 13K... thats nuts but if its what they go for... I wont be asking that much
cheers DD
(Definately Dodgy)
Trademe would disagree with you. There's one on there for $11k which has been there for ages. I paid $9k for my 2004 V11 Sport Bellagio with 6000Km on it and in good condition recently and that was a fair price I reckon.
However, if they manage to get anything like $14k for it then I won't be unhappy - Means mine will go up in value![]()
Lols, check out this hopeful noob!

Surely a typo.
I love peoples liberal use of "barn find" as if that somehow would improve it's value or desirability.

Assuming typo he may get 6 for that but it's not in best condition is it? If its sat that long the crank will need a rebuild. The brakes a rebuild. The suspension linkages pit then wear badly so need some engineering to rebuild, and the power valves will be leaking. After that just consumables head bearings, tyres too old, and try move corrosion from forks and pipes. Then it will be a sweet little bike. Est 4k of fix if you did it all yourself.
