BIKE founder and legendary journalist Mark Williams has written at length about his tenure with one of these lent by a so called friend. Worth finding online.

I guess this guy couldn't start it either .

Ahhh and my favourite bad ad quote, "mint condition for its age." It's either mint, as in absolutely brand new condition, or its not. Age ain't a factor.

Ok just poking fun at the 10k buy now, but reserve not met at over $1000, wwll it might qualify yet as optimistic.

That bright yellow paint and decal makees it look totally inauthentic to the lay person.

But I love it. Why is it not worth that much?

It would indeed be interesting to see what the bikes went for.

Just a customised Army Indian. If it was original - with all appropriate army equipment - it might be worth that much.

    Maybe.

I'm a sucker for bright colours. But I draw the line at Tony McMurdos Indian painted in his trademark Pink and Green racebike hue. It was intended to annoy traditionalists, and I'm sure it did, but it looked foul by any palette.

last two auctions i think they sold one bike. had a friend in timaru who was promised the world, it cost him a fortune to get the bikes up there and back.... Still there is surplus money around at the moment, some hipster might pay anything for this.

He was supposed to bring it down for a Cust revival - but it blew up. I'd built a bike for Amanda too. If you ever see him, tell him I'd love to hear from him again.
