Not my taste, but engineered well finished and cohesive design.

Sort of like building a swanky mansion in central Ruatoria. Overcapitalising and a bit useless even if you do a good job.

Really like that one. I wouldn't pay more than $12k even for such an exceptional a bike if that age. As has been stated, severely over-capitalised.

$25k gets you something really nice in new condition these days.

3,8 gets you a fair bike, but this isn't one of those :

No chance of a WOF for, shake a stick , number of reasons.

And oh, look it doesn't actually run. For electrical reasons. (Cracked head, which they all did).

A pity. It's a nicer job than most of its type. Near four grand for an illegal non-runner seems way over the odds.

Really don't get it, they're a nice enough looking bike without buggering about and chopping it up.

The bit that I don't like on most of these bikes is the bloody great hole where the airbox used to be, it just looks too much like there was something there but it got removed, and not sure what to do with it after that so just did nothing.

And yes, for almost 4k it needs to be riding home legal, or a bloody valuable project bike.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

I took that bloody great hole for the airbox, and expanded on it as a design feature

Personally i would be more worried about that bottle jacks affect on cornering clearance.

If you keep the front wheel lofted properly it shouldn't be a problem! It's not big or clever, sure, but gets the job done!
