That was one of my first kiwis. Surprised I came back after the emotional scaring of seeing that.

+1 on that manga bike. I've seen those in mags. Must be French to be that hideous.

That CB, shitter $400 bike devalued to zero. Will pass WOF with flying colours. More like the WOF guy will pass flying expletives.

Take some bits off, paint the rims with the tyres on, runs like shit, don't bother regoing it.
. . . And yet some weirdos are enquiring?!??

So I sinned a lot in a previous life to be looking at this. Its penance.

Could the FCR be tuned to be usable on a street bike or do I chuck it in a drawer and go looking for a Mikuni?

Keihin FCR carbs are eminently streetable, in fact they are likely better than all available Mikunis.
They are pretty much the pointy end of carb development. which is why all the major brands fitted them. (even though they are owned by Honda)
Sudco will sell you a pre-jetted one for pretty much anything.

My 750sp came with them std. Tps helping I guess. Sweet as if you weren't a muller. Better than most fuel injection I've ridden.

FCR's are awesome, I have them on the Ducati and they transformed the bike. Put pod filters on and get a jet kit, do some work with dyno / gas analyser / read spark plug and you're away.
