It's a nice bike at least. Most of the optimistic lot are selling heaps of shit.

Needs fork legs eventually. They've been cleaned up and don't leak...but sooner or later you'll want to replace them. We've done the belts.

Doesn't look to be a bad bike. Less k's than my 20 month old 1290.

    What year is it?

It's a 97. I would've thought it should be pretty good buying for a 1 owner at those kms.

Yeah it has considerable appeal. Owning it on a pension though is probably similar to an apprentice owning it.

Then again, been there done that. Sorta.

Imagine barely 2 tanks of gas a year. What a wallah. That's a nice bike and easily worth the money.

If it were 2010 next year.

drop the forks through the clamps then modify them for 50mm travel, put on shorter shocks. Fit shitless Firestone tyres.... then fit clipons that clang the tank

    for starters.

Yeah, the SR400 is a great little bike.

    Little. bike.

I have 480km on it and Ive decided it isnt me.

I keep shouting (in the James Doohan, not Simon Pegg Scotty voice) "Cap'n, she canna give nae mooooar"

Going to cut my losses. Looking at Harley Sportsters, Triumph Bonevilles/Street Twins/Ducati Scramblers/ Honda VT750S (yes, really)

But I have always loved the M900 and on the speaker to my left sits one of three motorcycle models I own. Its an M900

Plus I have cash in the bank from Crimble bonus....

Honda Bros man, AKA RC31 the 650 version though.
All most people need, if they are actually honest with themselves anyway.
The SV650 is a more modern, abeit uglier alternative
