Good bikes, better than the GSXR, but you'll never get as much as one.
So a tidy up presumably in situ with a spray can on a 87,000km bike.

Def. Fucking weird eh. An FZR1000T is a better bike than my old Slabby, but won't fetch anywhere near the same coin. I'd like another one (had two of them), or maybe a B model. Cheap as chips, and fucking great bikes.

Lol. Easy there Tiger! Having owned a few of both, I can assure you it's true. GSXR1100 is the better engine, FZR1000 by far the better chassis. What get's you round a race track faster?

Agreed. Had one as a shop bike for a while when I started at Brisbane Yamaha, was a fucking fantastic bike.

LOl. Well, I've owned four GSXR1100's and two FZR1000T's. But purchased my current GSXR, as it's an appreciating bike I love to ride/own. No point if buying an FZR1000T for anything other than the enjoyment of the ride. Never gonna be worth much. The 5 valve head was all good at the time, but no need for more than 4 now.

As one who's tried to get power equivalent to the GSXR out of one, You've mis-spelled that. It's millstone....

Yamaha hung with it for too long cos they'd lose face if they dropped it. Was only when the M1 got some serious changes they felt comfortable going to 4V.
