I'm not sure they are worth the asking price, but then again I don't know how collectible they are.?

Funny I was just looking at the RZ's on Trademe yesterday. Like you I don't know exactly how collectable they are, but would never have guessed they could be worth that much. Then again one of them has a genuine (??) bid of $10k. I reckon people are mad to pay that kind of money, but whatever.

Mate! You should try to buy your 16 year old daughter a $2000 car. 1993 toyota Corona with 180,000k on the clock went for $3600 the other day. on inspection it was in good condition but not that good. This is the case with many of them around that price range. Some dick will come along and just keep bidding till it ends. My daughter is getting rather pissed off now.
Its not the people asking for that money, they actually start the auction around the grand mark but it ends up in the 3-4 grand mark.
Trumpydom!
Tl1000 for $1000 reserve. This guy is optimistic of a quick sale.

BIKE magazine said a while back that the CB750s were getting so expensive in the UK that they recommended prospective buyers start hunting for a CB500 instead.
They said the 500s are cheaper and in some ways a nicer bike.
Those 500cc two stroke Yamahas look expensive but they are certainly desirable. I'd be wanting to check UK prices on EBay or wherever to see what people are asking there before I plonked down that much cash.
