Some years back I read the same argument regarding the prices Phase III GTHO's etc were hitting. At that stage one had recently changed hands for AUD$750,000. Guys who had the poster on the wall as a kid or 'dad had one but sold it' who were now very financially successful and paying obscene amounts to get their hands on them. One sold in OZ for a millllliiion dollars last year.

I would pay well over the odds for a TDR...

    Same reason as above.

They are already over the odds and certainly not worth it. Well at least unless you can prove it.

PM me when you have one and I'll be up the next day to test ride it for you and provide my endorsement or condescending review.

I'd prefer TZR wheels and 090s fitted. JL Pipes jetted to suit, Stan Stephen's tune and an ignitech, maybe PWKs.

    Just sayin.

I'd love to ride one. Bit of an oddity in the day and never knew anyone with one.

If you can't stretch to the TZR wheels, wider laced rims in Gold will do.

    And a bigbore RZ350 engine.

Well this looks as good as a dose of the pox.

There's an $800 one a little further on, both need work to finish.

Or even compared with this pretty decent one.

Here's a $300 bike. I spent $300 trying all the usual things but it still looked shite, didn't run properly without the airbox, now I just want out with all my money.

I was quite proud of the mirror position looking for drones.

haha Husa, that applies to everyone who love and buy old shit doesn't it.
We have our share on here ?? !!!!!

I might be nearly 70, but appreciate all the new tech modern bikes provide.
If I have a ride these days on old stuff, I say, ok ! But now..... where's MY bike!
( hey, thats 12 years old now).

OK, the seller is brutally realistic, but check this horror show out:
