You're about right there. I sold mine a year ago for $8500 -K2 in top'ish order - full rebuild...could have gotten 10k maybe - sold for buy now price on tardme on the same day I posted it.
At 17k I predict it will be there as long as a certain purple "widow maker"...

Thanks YHardman; just got it recently, wife made me promise to sell it, so if someone wants a NOS bike, it's there. If not...well then, I've kept my promise

Reasonable RZ500s and RG500s go for over $10k over in Aus at the moment, with minters going for a lot more, so $10k for that RZ seems around market value. Kwaka triples are going for silly money though....

I know a guy who sold a 74 860 bevel drive, that was going in pretty nice condition for about the price of the reserve, haha

After being on the market for over a year he might be more open to offers than he has in the past. Hopefully you'll put it on the track could be made into a nice pre 89 junior bike.
