ELEVEN GRAND? I mean its cool as shit, and being sold by the most expensive and biggest fuckwit of a dealer in creation. But this must be some sort of record.
They never present them well either. You go in there and they are typically dirty and could do with a polish and small things that could be fixed aren't. As they are a premium price you would expect them to be honkydory. Probally why they have rg400's on the floor unsold for over 12 months ay.

I dont think its worth big bucks, but its gotta be more than 3.5k!!!

this bloke is a bit optimistic though, same model, slightly higher kms, not running, potential electrical issue, but undiagnosed, asking $4.3k

fuck me, if i had a phone call come in i'd be on the computer right in front of me doing my best to identifyone and find one, even on trademe, most had just surrendered if they didn't have one sitting on the shop floor right in front of them
    The motor trade is fucked.
The talent pool is about 2cm deep. Anyone under 40 hasn't got a fuckin clue what's what & how to deal with the simplest situation that doesn't involve selling someone a brand new bike, or part for one.

Yeah sure buddy. I left it outside for a couple of decades with a bunch of parts missing and now it fires off the button just fine.

    Besides, it' missing the airbed
...that would be a good price...if you wanted the turmoil of doing it...I'd have jumped at that thing five years back...I've grown up since then...it took 60 years to get to that point though...I'm gently ridding myself of all that 70's shit that I have had hanging around the shed for too long...I can't be fucked wanting to stay seventeen anymore...I wanna piece of late fifties yank iron with fins...I want to be one, again...

Yes i wanted one until 2 weeks ago when a mate described riding one. But its a pity that an otherwise complete straight bike clearly with some mechanical issue had a few parts removed then lost and was then pushed outside so it became absolutely fucked.
Just a waste and makes a resto uneconomic, you'd be stupid to take it on.
My Stinker was somewhat worse than that.

This is just my opinion, but that's it I reckon. Its a 14 year old bike. Even though it was the best 600 of the time, its nothing special now.

I've got a buyer for the race fairings though if ya want.

You sound like the guy who sent me off for a packet of amps when I was an apprentice?

Saying that I do search out the old guys at Bunnings who know what inches are.

I think the general rule is that you go missing for a couple of hours then return denying all knowledge of the mission. If pushed claim you were washing the owners car.

10K is a bit much for a wall hanging.

    Agree about the price.

But it is cool as F. I dig those old little bikes. Mike Pero has a motorcycle museum in CHCH and one of my favorite bikes in the collection is a little Honda.

Hey - if that is hanging on his wall as art I wonder what is in the garage as a rider..... could be some cool shit.
