ELEVEN GRAND? I mean its cool as shit, and being sold by the most expensive and biggest fuckwit of a dealer in creation. But this must be some sort of record.

They never present them well either. You go in there and they are typically dirty and could do with a polish and small things that could be fixed aren't. As they are a premium price you would expect them to be honkydory. Probally why they have rg400's on the floor unsold for over 12 months ay.

I dont think its worth big bucks, but its gotta be more than 3.5k!!!

we're talking dealers here, entertaining bunch. when I was looking for a honda bros for my kitchen bitch i sat down and rang every dealer from newplymouth across to gisborne and south to wellington. that in itself was simple entertainment, a number just didn't know what one was. so many asked straight away if i'd tried trademe etc
fuck me, if i had a phone call come in i'd be on the computer right in front of me doing my best to identifyone and find one, even on trademe, most had just surrendered if they didn't have one sitting on the shop floor right in front of them

The talent pool is about 2cm deep. Anyone under 40 hasn't got a fuckin clue what's what & how to deal with the simplest situation that doesn't involve selling someone a brand new bike, or part for one.

Yes i wanted one until 2 weeks ago when a mate described riding one. But its a pity that an otherwise complete straight bike clearly with some mechanical issue had a few parts removed then lost and was then pushed outside so it became absolutely fucked.
Just a waste and makes a resto uneconomic, you'd be stupid to take it on.
My Stinker was somewhat worse than that.

This is just my opinion, but that's it I reckon. Its a 14 year old bike. Even though it was the best 600 of the time, its nothing special now.

Agree about the price.

But it is cool as F. I dig those old little bikes. Mike Pero has a motorcycle museum in CHCH and one of my favorite bikes in the collection is a little Honda.
