to be fair its a slug compared to the Falcon but will add that on a recent trip back South from Westport it held nothing up and managed to even pass a few cars on the straight bits,cheap to run and on a long trip far more comfortable than a GT-P Falcon so as much as ive hated sharing the roads with them for years ive somewhat mellowed in my dis-like after a few months of ownership,there still fucking ugly though.

Funny thing happens tho to people who are following you when you are driving a ute, esp,if you have a trailer. They HAVE to pass you and will do anything to get past sometimes even tho they are not going to be going any quicker.

Used to have a rusty old Mitsi L200 ute I bought off my brother. We called it "Rusty ute syndrome" - the need to be in front of, or not be passed by, the ute.
Many had a real problem with it, especially with 3 bucket racers in the back and a trailer with a sidecar.
The 2.3L turbo engine sorted out most of them.
