Posting here. Your chance to own a GSX400!

I used to have the 250 version of this and it was a missile. Can you imagine how fast the 400 is??! Wow. Worth every penny for a real game changer.

I had one exactly the same as my first "big" roadbike. It was significantly quicker than my mates CB400N. I paid $3000 for mine slightly second hand out of Wellington Motorcycles in late 81.

I religiously look at "Classic and Vintage" but i am not drawn to stuff that I had back in the day... I want stuff that I didnt get beck then. I have never owned a DOHC CB750/900/1100 for example. Or a GPz900

Actually a mate had one. I had to go pick it up when his car broke down. You had to let the clutch out carefully. Turns out the chain was bow tight as the sprocket was more 'bumps' rather than teeth. Scary.

Had do one up for my cousin's as a post classic racer. was NOT impressed. Was told they are just waiting to crack the cylinder head at the most inconvenient time.

Like right after one has put a lot of time into getting it running good. Was told the last time he had it out racing it started smoking. I think I know what's about to happen.

It looks like the auto-bid war has begun! When I looked, the price seemed about right at $22.

151 as of right now. If it needs a motor rebuild then $500 maybe a grand. Some of the cosmetics arent great - in particular that fuel tank. I had one BITD and it was quite capable. Bit of a big old bus though
