Well I've just been looking in the Classic section.
Have you noticed how much activity there is currently?
I'm seeing some weird stuff come up for sale, but also the volume.

It's like people are feeling the pinch and divesting some collections. And or they realise the world over the collapse is occurring as people Age Out and just in general so lots gets dumped on the market at once which slows it further as they struggle to find people with spare cash who want something on the edge of their experience.

And there will be those that steadfast refuse to accept their 'investment ' is worth less now. Simply supply and demand.

    Nice RD I don't have space for. . .
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

its that age where those are dying off or getting too old to enjoy are divesting or their partner is....
Stuff that is on the rise now are not whats on sale. Or maybe marriage break us when the kids leave home?
Mid 90s to 2000s on the rise. 60-70s on the decline. Special stuff will always be special but the common stuff that had an artificial high price loses out big when the market moves.

Or maybe its the chemtrails or covid vaccine nanobots

Or maybe, like me, the mere thought of a kick start makes them want to sit down and rest for a while.

Is this the value of one of these things now, or just another optimist?

It's been a while since I've looked at anything in this demographic, but I can understand there's probably a rarity factor due to most of them having been chucked down the road by an over enthusiastic learner overestimating their talent.

If you're going to attempt a Lucky Strike replica it should at least be some sort of Suzuki
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
