I have a friend who does it. He calls it "pesting". We're going to go out and pester our way round the town. Then off to Smash Palace. I don't see the attraction frankly but I am now old.

I was thinking of attending a Syd's run when I got better as I read about it from hospital bed several months back, and resolved to get my Stinger going and load the van with it and dirtbike. Sounds like they wouldn't want me on a standard bike.

. . . still have to get the energy to get it up and running anyway.

Yup, SP is my old haunt, Chris is a top bloke. Most of them are but I haven't caught up with them for ages.

Lot of Vintage club bikes on Syd's run. I'm sure the Stinger would be welcome.
I met the QCR in bulk when they did a run to Hororata. Probably as far as they'd ever go. Heard a swarm of bees coming up the road so went and had a look.
One was channelling Dave - "It seized at least 15 times coming out here " announced proudly as he started to take the barrel off a small Yamaha.

Walked quietly away, laughing to myself.

Ha. I raced 27 years and only ever seized Air-cooled *ondas.. maybe 4 times. Most of the time on Suzuki. Zero seizes.

Actually I nipped the LCerised honda once.

They must have inspired the next generation, I quite often see a bunch of younguns around our place on old chopped up steppies and small commuter bikes, but they're definitely not heading towards their 40's.

Still less annoying than the idiots riding around the cycle lanes on unregistered trail bikes.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

We have kids on bicycles with bull horns and annoying music occasionally. They can't be enjoying it, the only pleasure is in upsetting other people.

    Very mature.

Except when all you get is this. Seat is new and, um, trendy. It doesn't fit mind. But then, there's the tank that's been repainted. But doesn't really suit, or fit.
The rust has been painted over, there no pipes, actually not much of anything else.

I'm thinking of what you could do with $1000.

I never noticed the clutch bulge is different on the early compared to late twins.

It's fairly sound looking but an interpretation of how it could have looked if honda chose that styling.

Wiring should go inside the bars but that would require the correct throttle body. 7/10. Cute, but a representation not a full rest restoration thus worth much less. But most of it looks well done.

I've just clocked a picture of an old DT(360 in this case but RT, CT etc were the same). That's where I've seen the tank before. Had thought TS but it wasn't right at the front or the cap. Actually cap is bodged on, maybe Kawakamakazi

    I suspect it's a CB100 with a 125 motor.

optimistic, more like fraudulent. This guy some how has three original posters some over 100 years old, all on the same paper despite two being of american origin, and one british, all three were sold by southwards not that many years ago.
Despite the constant run of people telling him they are not original they still claim they are, with no provenance.
