    Optimistic sellers

This trader must be pretty hard to outdo as far as optimism goes. Bike has been on the market for a year now, wonder when the penny will drop he''s dreaming at that price. You'd have thought after a year he might have got round to the little bit of tlc required to get running.

is that one of the bimotas that you have to take the engine out of the frame to do ANY work on them?

That is an example but by no means the only one.

The thous, yes that was the case as things were a tad "tightish" :-). Not sure about the 4 hundy though. Nice frame for its day, and you can fit FAG bearings for adjustable rake as well. You can also fit a plate to adjust swingarm pivot with a bit of engineering nouse.
Floating cast Brembos on that thing as well, pretty good value Dorset ? (if your into that sorta thing)

Looks ok to me, I would pay that if that was the bike I wanted.

Nice little bike but... That not a runner bit might put people off. Still, could just be an electrical fault - as in the piston hit the spark plug.

Clearly you're not interested in buying, so why do you care? If that's what he wants, and will wait till he gets it (or someone contacts him directly and negotiates the sale) then that's his life.

If you want it, then make contact and buy the fricken thing...

Much more limited market than bigger YB's which in itself is limited. Would be a good price though if a nice example but could hardly be described as anything but rough.

I did contact the seller back in feb 2013, with tax bills looming and a yb11 in the garage i was stretched for cash but told him i'd pay 4k subject to viewing. Rather grumpy sounding chap told me he works on a cost plus basis & that was the price, fair enough his bike but 4k was mine. In sep 2013 after selling my YB11 (on the market for 7 months & negotiated on asking price) i again contacted and again offered 4k but received same cost plus response. I put its value at 3-3.5k but was actually trying pretty hard to deal so offered the 4. With the strength of the kiwi v yen a nice example can be landed for less now.

I think the best one is the mongol with the old HD Superglide for 60k. Reading his feedback he also sounds like a right cunt.

No doubt he would have made the difference on that 4k by now. Send him some basic economic links on present value vs future value XD

Are you going to import one while the dollar is high?

And just to keep on topic, this gem has been on for at least 5 years (although it is more there for advertising).

The only thing that puts me off that YB7 is the fairing damage. I would imagine it is impossible finding replacement parts.

Meant to be a bloody good little bike though.
