I love the puppy dog eyes they give you as they are giving you their best "I was just......" excuse. The whole time I'm wondering if they can see the "You're fucked son so don't bother trying" look in my eyes.

Yeah, by then they've done some act of idiocy that got your attention in the first place, if they weren't such bozos and kept their head down they might go a long time before being noticed.

    Now THAT'S an understatement...

Everyone from school security upwards has the rights of arrest, search and seaizure etc depending on who has authorised it, in what context/which jurisdiction etc.

I'm amased the place isn't full of gun toten crazies....

Do they ever give you that, "low cleavage batting the eyelids" thing, and you get to write the ticket despite the bulge in your pants?

Nah, at that age they're too scared and all they can think of is "goodbye $400" ka-ching. (and what bulge in my pants????)

And the old slappers that possibly would think of that have their Full licence anyhow.

But most of those types are greasy-faced, dirty clothed spotty yoofs with no brains.

The old cleavage trick. Hmm, I'll just take a little longer to write out the ticket.

Reminds me of another line from Supertroopers, "Hey, let's pop some Viagras and issue tickets with raging, mega-huge boners".

BTW In small US towns the town council get the money from the tickets, hence the zealousness of the cops - who are also paid by the small towns.

You have Highway Patrol, State Trooper, County Sheriff, Traffic Police etc etc
so things are a bit more compicated over there.
It might improve recruitment numbers if there was, say, 30% commission from infringements.

The problem is that 70% of tickets these days are for 11 to 15 k's over. I never did, or would, write them for less than 20 k's.

The only time i was pulled up on my learners was in a small town at 1am, i was just driving home and got stopped, gave the guy the "I just dropped a friend off after a youth group event and I'm heading home" excuse, he swallowed it like a fish and told me to drive safely. I was stoked!!
