Thought we'd take this route last weekend. Pulled into Hunterville, checked map between us. Meantime a local came up and yacked to us. Then mentioned the road has large unsealed sections........wtf???? Being on cruisers we opted not to take it. Get home, yack to other biker mates, no one could say if fully sealed or not??? Totally confused now. Anyone actually riden this route and know if fully sealed or not please? Cheers

Been thru many a time - all sealed! Go Fordell or Turn off at Turakina antiques shop (Turakina valley road) & thru to Hunterville.

Rode out through Fordell to Hooterville yesterday.
The road was the best I have seen it.
Didn't see any loose stock this time, which is unusual.
Coffee at Cranks Cafe and back the reverse route. Majic

Last time I rode it, I did Hunterville - Wanganui - Palmy without leaving top gear. That was a fun mission.
