I hear you all - and i think you are probably right about no-one caring about gender on this forum ............ but, like it or not, gender discrimination IS alive and well out there in the rest of the world.
Have just bought a new bike [did i tell you about my new bike?? ] and was quite stunned by the level and quantity of supercilious, patronizing, disrespectful, gender-biased crapola i ran into at several dealers .............. i mean, talk about counter-productive? [yes, of COURSE i'm going to buy a bike from you after that, mr dealer sir .... NOT!!]
All i can say is, if anyone thinks you dropped it because you are a girl, that's their problem ... not yours. Shame about the damage 'though- hope you get mobile again real soon.

    [oh - and welcome!! ]

I ran into that as well - there are a few bike shops that will never get my business because of their attitude when I was bike hunting. Thankfully the guys on here are pretty good - except for White Trash, Winja and Jimbo600 - but they only make smartarse comments because they are seriously under the thumb at home!!!

When Riff Raff droped her SV recently, she found the best therapy was to take her man home, sit him down in his favourite easy chair, cook him some dinner and make him a nice cuppa tea.

    You tried that?

Hang on a moment - are there wimmin folk on this forum? So can you get PC's that operate from kitchen sinks these days then?

    I am joking!

Sorry for that, shit story you have there. Shit attitude by the guy as well. It's nothing to do with your sex - it's all about those little gremlins that jump out in front of us blokes when we're riding, throwing obstacles in our way, making us bin. And as we can't see them we have to blame someone else - because we guys are perfect, and can never be blamed for crashing our own bikes. Oh no. Our egos would never allow us to believe that we're to blame, especially when there's a woman around. Or a police officer for that matter.

I hope you get a bike and yoursefl back on the road soon.

You got to be careful around them P.M.T things. In fact you should stay home and cook good food and look after your man when you are not stable. As mentioned in other posts here you would be safer cleaning your bike or your mans bike when you have the imbalance thing going on.

Ok I am kidding. It is a bitch that you dropped the bike but riding in a group is a little dangerous. Riding can be dangerous. I would be as upset as you if I dropped my Gixxer.. But it happens and you are not in hospital in pain so look out da window and go for a walk. We need to realise how lucky we are cos if you had hit a cage you could be in a lot worse situation. Take care and we do care. Welcome to KB but you will need a thick skin if you open every posting like this one. It is not your fault you are female.
