I'm assuming that its the reason why the 2005 line has dropped in price. Wanting to get rid of whats left and get ready for the 2006 line up of bikes.

Damn, I want a new bike
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

That I want does not live here. Its taken me quite some time to actually change that and although it at times still applies, I'm able to get more toys than ever before.

Arrow Right, just picked up the new skid lid.

Its a Shoei XR1000G, the new 2006 style with graphics. Quite possibly the most comfortable helmet I've owned thus far. Although the real test will be at speed. Bike should be here next week.

Bought a new bike 19 years ago, still have it. I now prefer old bikes. Devaluation/depreciation and all that. Still waiting for that mid-life crisis thing to kick in though

Once a few more things are done around the house. We are getting a decient skyline or similar garage and I'll go back to restoring old bikes, but this time it'll be to keep

Nice lid. All it needs now is a "Hard Core" sticker...

I am told that putting stickers onto a lid can affect the integrity of the shell? However I've got one THC sticker for the new bike and that can be it. Not half a tonne of different stickers like the last bike.

    A sensible man.

There is one THC sticker left, the KB one, and an Icon one on the the instrument cluster to hide the small "modification".

Bet you're difficult to live with. Bet you don't sleep anymore either. Like a 5 year old a week out from "1st bike Christmas".

Turns out I have been experiencing bad hay fever, as I thought I was experiencing some exotic bug that I was having trouble getting rid of. Had a anti-histamine pill and with in half an hour. Slept like a baby and did not want to get up this morning. Although I could imagine that a "sickie" will folllow the arrivial of the new bike

Probably Friday the 7th, but it could be the following Monday. Depending on how quickly the bike shop gets it from off the boat. The Ship is due in on the 3rd. Scooterboy should have his GPx600f ready, so I might see if I can go for a test pilot.

Lucky Sod... Sexy Black and Silver; that's the colour I wanted but they're all sold out over here. I had to settle with choice NO#3 - should match my riding gear quite well though.

Oh yeah, picking mine up tonight ~ still at odds on how to run it in SOFT or HARD.

    2006 CBR600RR

Seems the only changes for '06 are colours!
The 2006 Honda CBR600RR and CBR600F have both been revealed for the first time, with new colour schemes for both bikes.

The CBR600RR, designed to echo the Honda MotoGP race bike, gets three new paintschemes. The most unusual of these is the 'Pearl Fire Orange, with Graphite Black and Digital Silver Metallic'. This is joined by an Italian Red option, or the more stealthy Graphite Black.

Underneath, the bike remains the same as in 2005, with a die-cast frame, full adjustable suspension, and radial-mounted front brakes.

The CBR600F continues in the same vein, with the choice of Digital Silver Metallic, or Italian Red paintschemes for 2006. It retains the twin-spar aluminium frame and 599cc fuel-injected motor of the 2005 model. It also has fully-adjustable suspension .
