    Angry What The!!!!!

O.K what's the deal if you're a woman and you drop your bike it's automatically because you're a girl it has nothing to do with the fact that some young guy who was new to riding and had just had an accident the week previously came off in front of you on an organised ride, so when you came around the corner and didn't want to take the guy out on your right and didn't want to hit him but did deciced to brake not realising that there was sheep shit on the corner which is why the guy came off in the first place, but despite my 22 years of riding experience we'll just put that down to the fact that I'm a women just to make you guys feel in some way superior. And by the way mate it is good rider curtouisy to apoligise to the person who didn't hit you but did right off thier own bike O.K. So now you can put this down to P.M.T or something female related if you like not the fact that I wasn't insured and just did in the trade in on a 636.

Sounds like a typical accident situation to me newcomer, and I'd think very few of us in here would foolishly believe it happened because you're a chickidie!!

Sorry to hear of your suffering & loss for doing the right thing KG, all happens so fast too!

    Oh, & welcome to KB!

Welcome to KB. I've only got an old 636 (unlike Bugjuice et al), but I'll gladly spew on about how wonderful it is if it makes you feel any better? (pt)

Good on you for chosing the right way rather than the cost-effective way out of that situation. So was this organised ride at a fairly decent pace or did someones ego overtake their ability?

One of the downsides of group riding. Go for the odd group ride but ride alone mostly. But then I'm usually the tailend charlie so there's not a lot of difference.

Bugger. Shame about the spill. What's going to happen with the trade now?

Of course most of us here don't believe that an accident is in any way attributed to gender. Hope you get it all sorted soon.

In the mean time how about you run along and bake us blokes some cookies theres a good girl!!

What do you think that young girl riding motorcross on the news the other night would have said if she was in your shoes? She wouldn't be blaming anyone else I bet you. Look how close and hard she rides and out on that track she's just another rider but a bloody good one. It's got nothing to do with you being a woman but it's got everything to do with you being just another biker who got it wrong one time. Bad luck. Any kind of bike beats first class walking and we all have to walk sometime or you aint trying hard enough. Congratulations you are a motorcyclist. Ive never seen you so I will have to take your word for it that you are woman. Cheers John.
PS: The only one who can fill your head up with that "woman" kind of stuff is you so don't do it. You are just another "biker". Good fun isn't it!

When I stumble and drop my bike just getting on or off it outside a bike shop where everyone is watching.....and they say it's because I'm a short fat old man,well...I don't mind because it's what I am.

How much damage has it got? Thought a naked/retro thingy attraction was the fact it had no fairings etc? And whats the story riding with no insurance anyway???

Hang on, neither have I, oh well......
