Neanderthal man is alive and hunter/gatherer-ing on a farm just north of Napier.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Speed is not the important bit for my dear one. Although, the 250 goes quite well really. I'm only a little fella at about 70kg and the bike pulled 130 on the flat without trying & with stale fuel. Not sure that she'll be doing a trackday any time soon tho.

Today was the day!! Yaaay. Took my new bike out for a spin (unregistered and unwarranted-still waiting for the papers). Off to G4E's place first for a couple of runs up and down the front paddock on Xhardcorex's XR200 just to get the feel for it again and then off up the road on the EL, whoohoo. It felt great once I'd got over the real nervous bit. I didn't break any speed records but did stay shiny side up. Still need loads of practice but I know that I can do it now-haven't forgotten everything, even if parts of it are pretty rusty.
