Im a bit like Bruce- except a wee bit slower, without the wheelies (although........)
Now I've got a speedo I can actually read - when I do bother to look at it - I seem to travel a bit quicker than I thought.....

In the twisties i have no idea of speed on the straight bits but normally get off and push the bike round the corners as the 50mm wide chickenstrips prove ........ on the open road 120 to 140 k is nice but dodgy for the pocket and license these days .......

Unless the weather is really shit. I like to keep to a minimum of 130. I seem to catch up with everything in front of me and I overtake as soon as possible.

Sometimes I commute on a SP1. I try to keep it under 200 for safety reasons. You lose more time on petrol stops anyway.

Tend to stay within about 10 - 20 kph of the speed limit, exheading it depending on time, place and conditions. Being small bike the most fun I can have is within the tight twisties where I may not be exheading the limit by more than 15kph but almost every time go over the 'recommened' corner speed by anything from 20kph to 65kph. Have topped the bike out on several occasions though.

when i need to do some testing about 10,000 RPM in 6th, I figure that if i go past fast enough then people will think it's just another of those noisy bikers and won't realise that the light holes are covered up, and hell, those numbers on the side... thats just what those new fangled bkes have now isn't it

But i save my most for the track which i try and get to twice a month when the $$$$ allows.
Hey bruce how do you afford so many bikes? also guys like you and SP and frosty ect... seem to travel pretty quickly if you get a cop behind you what do you do?

As my son is on here and only a young fella I would say I stick to 100. Don't we MSTRS? We set a good example for our boys.
