Why I never speed, not even a little bit, not once...
Those who know me or have ridden with me are a pack of lyres and can’t be trusted!
Don’t believe a word of it! There just trying to discredit me as I may have inadvertently overtaken one of them once when he/she slowed down to 20 and I didn’t react in time!
Its true I tell you! That’s a doctored photo, and that video footage has been speed up!
    That could have been anyone...
    No proof whatsoever...
We all have our little obsessions...

Ahhh ok so as soon as they are out of view find a nice little cottage and put your bike around the back of it and wait for an hour ?

I don't exactly do open road - they are transport sections between real twisty or gravel roads where 100kph is dangerous.I do 100kph on main roads, roads where Plods don't go will see me up to 120kph cruising.

Apparently a kid was in the back seat with a video camera and the guy wanted to show off to him. Oh think of the children... Oh think of the bike.

I ride at exactly whatever speed I feel like. Commuting that's anywhere up to 260 (motorways mainly), open road it's anywhere between 130 and 230ish. Reason for difference in top speed is that 230 is easy to hit in fairly small distance, and not tooooo hard to get back down from, whereas the extra 30-odd requires a lot more distance (that metres/second thing). The motorways are a known quantity - no sideroads, livestock, oncoming traffic, wandering quad bikes/tractors... much less dangerous place to try the serious speeds.

And before you ask, no, I generally don't split cars at 260.
