I can't think of another motorcycle park on Courtney (other than Les Mills one), but I might be wrong.

If I recall the deal was free parks n exchange for not using car parks or parking on footpaths, if the parkings removed then it stands to reason that the conditions are also removed

Argh - the fekkers! Don't do spybook - so if you could keep us updated with any developments here I would be most appreciative.

From memory we're not 'allowed' to take up a car parking space for the 2 hours free parking either (after 6pm).

That would have been one of the largest MC parks in Wellington CBD if not the largest and always crammed full on weekdays. What a loss, especially coming on top of the rearrangement in Mercer Street. I think the message is clear, this may be the 'coolest little green capital in the world' but we want you to drive cars everywhere like normal people do.
