Importing a KTM 300 from Australia

Hi, can anybody help me?
I want to import a KTM 300 (two stroke) from Australia which has been used on road and I want to ask if it can be road registered in New Zealand.
Is it generally possible to register two-Stroke Enduros for road usage in NZ?

Yes they can be road reg in NZ and quite a few have been , you will need the road kit fitted =blinkers,horn, chain guard, lights and stop light switches, mirrors etc. You'll need all of the relevant paper work from Aus originals not copy's etc owner ship papers and the plate from aus will help and good luck dealing with VTNZ.
