Thou's an the like suit other people, more power to them I reckon.
But one thing thats always amused me has been a couple of mates that got so many tickets on their 1000/1100's that they gave up riding all togeather.
Wouldn't go down on CC an couldn't control their trigger fingers on the big bikes
so today they ride a car
The EX Wicked was like that I reckon, couldn't work out that you can enjoy yourself on ANYTHING,,,,,,,If your a biker.
That's one reason I like smaller bikes (sometimes, anyway). Tis more fun pushing a bike to its limits than having to baby along something with far more power that you can't use.

Big is good for touring, nice lazy motor spinning slow, and lotsa torque so as not to have to change down. But for fun hooning a little 'un is better cos you can wrap it hard. Figuring out how to get the last bit of spped and cornering from a bike is quite fun. 'Twould be fun on a big one too , if there were no cops and roads were like race tracks. As there are, and they aren't, 150hp is pretty much wasted.

Suspect this is part of the attraction of bucket racing - pushing a bike to its utter limits. Rossi can do that on a 1000 - I can't.

I read that it was more in the nature of a mechanical/electronic failure. Some part (of the efi system?) that is supposed to regulate the flow of fuel died and as a consequence fuel usage was higher than anticipated.

That "curse" Rossi put on Sete, "Gibeneau will not win another GP" is starting to look pretty damned effective :-)

are you going to be riding around on a bike that in real terms is going to be only as fast as your mates 600 through the twisties? I'm right arn't I ?

...I want to know what people think?
Imagine the stress I face seeing these in my garage trying to decide which to ride?
Buy one of them and I will tell you which is better, medium or large - and I'll upsize your fries plus a coke.

edit: oops, sorry about the pixel size. bloody camera seems to live in gigabyte world
And what do I take to Manfeild tomorrow?? Life stinks ...NOT!

With a litre bike you don't need to prove anything. Someone wants to race (ie boy racer), it's like fuck off dickhead I got a 10second bike here, go race that chick in the starlet. Anything less than a litre, and you're always trying to prove something - I know, been there done that.

Oh come on brains youre compromising your name, any boy racer that even tries anything is always in the dust of my 600 its 0-100kms in a fraction over 3 secs, what boy race can match that ?

I also use my newandimprovedenourmous penis as a side stand for the Biff Bird. Very useful when stationary at traffic lights. Although it's a little dangerous to whip the mighty python out when stationary at a pedestrian crossing. Only last week I whipped out the giant purple warrior at a pedestrian crossing and a group of Green Peace activists tripped over it - declared it an endangered species and stuck a whopping great flag down the end of it. It was sore for days.

The bike matbe capable of that, but are you.

I happen to know a few cars (road driven) that would dust a litre bike of the line and so, you'd be amazed just how well a 4WD can launch with the right driver behind the wheel. And if you want to put your money where your mouth is take your 600 to the night wars drags and see how many cars are in your dust.
