"Roxanne" can do 11.9s 1/4 standard (as she was made in the factory back in 1990), and she is one of the slower 1000's. Modern 1000's will out strip that easy.

Come off it son, there's plenty of safetly wear out there that doesn't make you look like (in your words) a twat when you walk into the pub.

You might call it a girl's bike, but my scooters are made by the two companies who put the most stylish metal (that's metal, not plastic) ever on two wheels...

That's all, I'm not rising to your bait any further.

fucking lame thread hi-jack cowpoos get off it man, I am down with anything fast enough to do something stupid on, I love scooter no two ways about it, and I also love motorcross bikes but I cant say I love thou's because I have never ridden one. How about you have you ever ridden a fast scooter? have you even ridden a vespa of lambretta from before the 60's?

Bikes and scooters may be two sides of the same coin, but the amount of aggro being generated by interacting with each doesn't appear to be a positive thing. Go and start a Kiwi Scooter site, and celebrate your passion there.

As we have a scooter section on this site I guess there's bound to be a little osmosis.

I like scooters. I'd like a litre scooter even more though.

I reckon we should smack all our heads together (mine included) when we started bitching about whats good and whats not. Sure there are many of us that have likes and dislikes here. But I think making an issue about it is pointless (yea, I know I'm guilty of that in the past). We all ride one form of motorcycle or another. One thing I've noticed in the past before parting with the 400 was waving. Alot of HD and other bikes now wave back to me, which is great. However most of the time, when I wave to someone on a scooter, I usually get no wave back. I know alot of kids ride them, but from the size of some of the riders, its pretty obvious that they are not. I'll wave to anyone thats on the road, even the idiots on minibikes. I really dislike minibikes and scooters, but we all have the right to ride whatever we want. I almost brought a 1000cc bike, but for my own reasons went to the 600cc instead. Are we Kiwi Bikers or wanks? How about we start treating everyone else on a bike the way that we'd like to be treated ourselves??? Right I'm off to master moto gp3 on the xbox, catch you all later
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.

    Well said - Bling, bling.

If it's got two wheels it's a motormacycle. Just some are way cooler than others.
