that's what happens when you ride thous for too long. But that would go without saying. It's like someone used to a 600 (such as myself) getting on a 250 or 400.. They're still quick to those who are used to them, but when you've had more, downsizing just doesn't cut it. Doesn't mean they're still slow bikes..

not takin offence either. Couldn't care less, I just merely wanted to point that out. I love my orange 636 and it's quick enough for me. Once you're in the twisties, you might not have the same exit power, but you can still have fun.

and 6, orange is the best by far mate..

Fuck there is alot of shite in this thread, alot of wanking up to litre boys and indicating anything less is slow, as far as Im concerned anyone can ride whatever the fuck they like but no one on here can ride a 1000 to half its limits on the road for more than a few secs, this is to also be said for a 600 also....... so whats the point in having one ? dunno really ,each to his own I guess

OK - the guys on tv on thous - Rossi , Gibo then Corsa and the WSBK guys... Well they getting 98-100% from their bikes (Rossi prob getting 105%) and their tires last 45min before they are FUCKED.

Sooo, If you can get - say - 3 x 3hr blats out of a rear tire on your thou, then mathematically you are riding your thou at an average of 17% of it's capabilities....
