I wish a just had a bike that didnt need clutch to do a wheelstand.

After 6000k on a litre bike.....who gives a fuck about corner speed. If you want to go mental - use the bikes strengths! Tighter corners - slower in fast out - fuckin fast out!. Higher speed sweepers and rolling countryside - no contest!
Open road touring - more torque than most big touring bikes - just leave it in 5/6 and roll that throttle! Stability - 255+ with Ventura packs on - stable as.
    Better economy than a 750..
If you want to scratch in the REAL tight and twisties - so - ....its a public road. Lighter nimbler bikes with big torque will be easier to ride quick. But not THAT much quicker.
Riding position is a matter of preference. I've tried z1000's and such - great bikes, but, I like a fairing and feel most comfortable on sports bikes.
Basically - what it comes down to is - ride what you feel comfortable and good on. Just be prepared for things to happen a bit quicker on a thou.

    Quiet you!
My entry speed was OK - just too many obstacles in the way for a smooth progression through .........

I stand about as much chance at beating your bros in a drag from 0-160 on my scooter as you do w/o a bike.....

How about I steal my old mans car and we see how many chicks we can pull???

This is pointless we need to have a ride along sh22 or something.... just because a rocket can get from 0-100 in 1.8 seconds dosent mean it faster than a gixxer thou...
