    Arrow Help - Bracket broken.

    All fixed - see my last post (#8)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I have just discovered that my Rego plate is kinda swinging around a little...
    The bracket that is attached to rego plate is broken where the nut and bolt hold it onto the mud guard.
    Where do I get one of thoses from?
    How much?
    Or does one of you kind people have one lying around in your garage.
    Its to fit onto a 1997 Yamaha Virago 250cc cruiser.
    I have put duct tape to hold it in place until I get another one... but the duct tape does look rather tacky on my beautiful m/bike.
    Cheers for your help in advance...
    in the worst case, it wouldn't be too much from a wreckers, would it....? Or they might have something similar that would do the job..
    I don't have anything myself, unfortunately. But can it be fixed up at all??
    is it plastic or metal?
    It is Metal... snapped right where the hole is.. on the bottom part of the hole.. so that the top part is snapped away... from the main part
    Cool
    Tis all fixed...
    I rung a wreckers... thought they may have one at $25
    (would have to go in and check it out)
    Went to a bike shop.... aftermaket bracket $46
    Brand new one $85
    For the shop to weld it up...$30
    I said ok I will think about the prices... and was heading home when I spotted my mate was at work... so called in.... pulled it off.... he took it to the panel beaters and painters that were next door...they rewelded it... and even repainted the whole thing black... waited a few minutes for it to dry.... put it all back together.... $00.00
    So I am a happy wee thing...
