Just googled him, I know he races a WR in enduro and XC but the bottom of his profile explains all.

that's an interesting read, he started racing at 22. when you watch him you wouldn't have guessed he started so late, i dabble in motocross on my WR albeit fun day maize paddock I guess that don't count for anything. i wonder if 57 is too old to start racing

Na 57 is not old there's the NZ vet champs or NZ Masters games for us old buggars and I had my 1st MX race at 21yrs, Gold star round at Puke AMP show grounds a lomg long time ago.

Yep did my first XC race last year at 40. Ok I sucked, but I didn't come last...

Yep you wont be last as there's always some one who wont make it past the first lap or corner.
At Ardmore we run a 30min + a lap feature race series and I never finish outside of the top half as most young guys go to fast and burn out at 20min, lol. Add in rain and deep mud and most just go home to their Video games.

Hey Scott, do me a favor if you see number 45 Matt Orton in MX2 tell him to keep his cool and just finish!
The boys got some speed but gets carried away trying to do to much and crashes his chances away. Gunna be scary to watch at Harrisville he looks so sketchy!
