Physics; Thou art a cruel, heartless Bitch-of-a-Mistress
Next Friday I get home from work about 10pm. Will get changed, have a meal and about midnight, I'm going to hop on the scooter and just ride. Dont have a destination or distance in mind, but I love riding at night. I'll take a bedroll with me and bunk down in a pull off area somewhere when I get knackered during Saturday.
May head east towards Opotiki or south to New Plymouth. Will make my mind up Friday evening.

Today!...I had coco pops for breakfast!...because the kids slept in and couldnt stop me!!
oh, and then I rode to work...it was nice as always(But the stolen coco pops really made my day)
...would kill for a fuckin pop tart tho! (u bastards mentioned them...now I have a hankering...damnit!)

...I lean into it!
Slept in late (till 6am) and didn't go to work - I love weekends (Fri, Sat). Weekdays (Sun-Thu) are annoying because I have to work, but at least I get to ride to and from work (35km each way, or longer if I take a scenic route home).
Once I got out of bed (nice & late at 6am) spent time relaxing and reading motorcycle forums.
Then my NZ Motorcycle Atlas (by Peter Mitchell) arrived so I had a flick through that and thought about shorter and longer NZ touring rides.
I'm thinking of a 1-2 week North Island tour next summer and a 2-3 week South Island tour the following summer, also a couple of 1-2 day rides to check out what I need and where to pack it.
Also checked the online tracking of my tankbag & tailbag (big enough to hold tent) ordered from the US.
Checked on google maps for other routes to take from work back to home.
No riding, but plenty of time spend on motorcycle related activities.
If anyone here is thinking about having children read this....
....then read this....
Freedom vs Coco Pops. That about sums it up.
Today I spent 1 hour of work time intermittently reading motorcycle blogs and staring out the window at the sunshine. Wishing I could jump on my bike after work rather than taking the kids to the supermarket in the car. Roll on Sunday (ride-day).
WELLINGTON: Tag-o-rama
Today I decided that motorbikes are better than children.
As such, my partner and I are just going to keep accumulating bikes rather than little screamy poop machines. We will have a whole garage of loud, expensive, money pit machines instead
(bikes are also more fun than working, but I haven't found a fix for that one... sorry Grasshopper)
today I went to burger king and got to see another bloke's moto guzzi--- not a huge follower so couldn't say the model but it sounded and looked nice, maybe being restored? --- if you read these forums, hi i'm the 6foot dork on the tiny green super sherpa
Today I didn't get to ride to tech, but I got to play with lathes and mills and other Engineering type toys....
Today I wasted so much time looking for the maf sensor on an Audi A4 2.6, that I am taking the rest of the day off. Im a quitter, sue me.![]()

2 to 4 times a week at the mo I get a 6 km stretch of gravel to start the day, followed by 32km of Buller gorge awsumness to get to work... reverse order on the way home.
And usually about once a day while Im at work drooling over European female awesumness I will hear about 1 rider a day thrashing the shit outta a nice twin or even better, an inline 4....quess which makes me hard.![]()
