Purchased the first part of me wideband tuning setup, so is kind of bike related...

Another motorcycle celebrity moment this morning. Again the first person to greet me at the gig was Troy Bayliss, this time he was in civies and acting as host for the press turning up to his Moto Expo shindig.
We started talking about video production and he said 'here have a look at this video that my young bloke made' and hands me his phone with the vid loaded. I started watching it and he says 'stay there, I'm going to the gents'.
I thought 'fuck me. I'm standing here in an empty hall holding Troy Bayliss' mobile phone'.
Turns out the video was very good - although I did later in the day caution Jnr about using copyrighted music in the production.
I also did think that it was fortunate I don't work for News of the World - can you imagine what that contact list would be like? I merely put it down till he returned and continued fiddling with my cameras.
    I luff motorcycles.

    Today I.....

Today I changed the oil and filter on my car. Went fairly well until I drained the coolant as well and found out the drain bolt had no washer so I cannot tighten the bolt to complete the job

Seeing as how this is a bike forum I'll include the bike part of my story. Because my car was now out of service I decided to use my bike as transport. I gear up ATGATT and ride to my local gas station. Check the tyre pressures.....28 in front (slow leak) and 13 in the rear..WTF 13!!! oh hello Mr Screw!! You rat bastard.

Well I rode moar today, then began polishing the Bandit headers, but I am using some secrets to cheat.
Stainless is very easy to win with, is all I shall say. (till it gets hot again,or hot and wet, or just don't look at the fucking things)
I even did some work on a bloody Honda, for some Bogan plonker

MAF is attached to teh back of the airbox, I think that's up front on driver's side on one of them? only place it can be is between the airfilter and the throttle body

Yep, thats what I thought too. Turns out this model dont have a maf at all.
Thinking it may be a leak in the airflow somewhere now.

    Today I...

Took three bikes out of the garage and started each of them up. I then took each for a ride around the block, 10 kms round trip..
Still deciding which one to keep.

Got the audi running sweet. Took the 3 wheeler for a fang round the block and turned it into a 2 wheeler for the corners.

    Today I...

Spent 3 hours on the bike and managed one or two or possibly more circuits of the Rimutaka Hill Road.

    Good times, good times

Tech Spec is not as ummm aggressive as Stomp Grip. Stomp Grip would probably be better on the track but I think one of the Tech Spec alternatives would be more suited to the road. Well that's what I thought, and that's why I bought Tech Spec.

    Today I didn't ride a motorbike (that's a rare day).

Instead, I rode my new mountain bike, and went over the bars once (with an audience of course). Hopefully that's the end of running it in

Real good disc brakes? Or just a muppet moment? Of course it is always best if there is an audience.

Today I get to swing and ride my dads R1 speedway sidecar.

Yesterday I rode around the big ass kawhia loop. I avoided about 10 cows, which is more than the amount of cars I had to overtake. Which is good. Rode through roadworks though... Bike looks like it is concrete coated. Washing it today.

    Now that's a win!
Today I am going to ride some rather tasty roads, then clean and pamper the little red bitch...err Bandit and possibly play with the other two bikes
