Cheers guys, I've had one of the most interesting and least boring years of my life thanks to bikes and you guys -- I've bought a bike, learned to ride it, crashed it, borked the engine three times, seen the insides of an engine for the first time and tried to fix it. And I would've been able to accomplish very little of it without the help of you wonderful people on this forum (especially the crashing!).
Well, anyway, tomorrow I fly out to Australia to visit my Dad until Jan 13th. What's on the list of things to do? Well, I've been offered the use of a Suzuki Cruiser(Intruder? Something like that), and am about to go on a little tour of some parts of Queensland I've never seen before, in the saddle of a bike, too. Even 6 months ago, I could never envisage myself having this kind of holiday, and without KB I'd doubt I'd have the confidence to try it anyway. I'll take lots of photos to show you guys just how lucky you are to live in NZ with our roads! From what I remember of Queensland, I can see that having a cruiser will by no means be a negative on the kinds of roads they have there.
So thank-you everybody for everything, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year too, and the obligatory `please try not to hurt yourselves',
Cheers,
-Tom
