Nothing to do with safety or looks. It's the blatant anti-motorcycle stance of WCC. Which none of you give a fuck about. Or the local bike cops who just want bikes off the road, full stop. (also its not entirely WCC stance.......it technically was in Auckland first, in fact the plan/push for Auckland to get them started about 6 years ago, fuck knows why this shifted to Wellington - but I guess it was due to the people giving up in Auckland)

As for what I would prefer - I rode in a Tesla S recently and all I can say is "Fuck Yes!" - thing went like a cut cat. Also it wasn't as ugly as most electric wonders.
