Well today...
I went to CORSA motorcycle dismantlers just up the road from me...
bought a very cosmetically damaged ZXR250A tacho
Took it home cut up my original and just as I cut into the A tach, I got a call from Red Baron - they had a very mint condition one for $120 so I went and grabbed it...
Wasted some cash on the A but ended up with a mint one... So I decided to finish the circuit board swap which came out mint as!
When the tach is in the cluster you cannot even tell it was modified... works perfectly... SO if anyone needs a tach gimmie a PM!
Got her all Vinned and shit today!![]()
Only took about 4 hours...
They fully measure the frame up with all sorts of shit, measured the forks (Mt Wellington VTNZ) to find it 100% perfect. Just the front fairing was a little out hit on the forks to I had to do some handy with a file! (And chain was loose, easy peasy).
Well its good to be on the road again!
Owes me just over $2500 Ended up having to buy a speedo cable last night, new rear disc and pads, and a new tach, new plugs and a few bobs.
Not a bad price considering it only needs a repray to be in mint condition!
Congrats Mr Rumble, nice machine at an even nicer price! I've always liked the look of the ZXR250.Originally Posted by Rumble

Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...
