I had one, a 97, last of the F models (F3). It was awesome. I'd buy another just like it no questions asked.

The only thing I'd recommend is trying a similar year GSXR600. Heaps heaps more hooligan (sound, riding position, looks). Might suit you better, might not, but definitely try one. I'd hate to have to choose between them.
