hmm...i feel almost embarrased to say i didn't mind either although Torque was a little rediculous. But like one of the guys said....i don't mind stuff that is a bit over the top in movies. Not every movie has an aim to be a realistic depiction.

I own both. They are both good if viewed as entertainment.

Biker Boys stands up to multiple viewings better.

They're both shite. But I actually enjoyed watching Torque with my younger son.

Must go and practice my rolling stoppies, and changing my body work really, really, really quickly so that no one notices that my bike is actually a KTM when I'm riding off road.

OK. I just watched Torque for the third time. Look closely and the whole movie is one big piss take of boys in cars! Everywhere!

Like the street signs that when spinning in opposite directions read "cars suck"

Or the "I live my life a quater mile at a time" quote.

    Fucken brilliant. Love it.

BikerBoyz has some very cool riding in it, just not enough of it.

And yet they blew those up. So we have shyte acting, shyte riding, and lousy CG. Then there is Bikerboys wich has all of the above just geardmore twords the hip hop group.
If some others on here like them more power to them, but I have seen them both once and that was enough.

The thing that I particulary loved about Torque was the hard arsed bikie/bad dude riding a Road Warrior!

Yea till you figure out that he was the same actor that played the guy that nearly got his arm torn off in the first fast and the furious. Best movie I have seen that guy in was the transporter where he played the wallstreet type bad guy.
(edit) And he could have done without the mullet.

Havent seen Torque yet, heard it was so bad I'm waiting for it to appear on Sky, next month I think. Biker boys was a shocker, if you compare it to Fast and The Furious, thought the car one was real good. BB was just so lame. I'm waiting for this to hit the big screen, wonder if we'll get it here?

Torque looks exactly like that - impossible stunts, ridiculously unsafe stunts at that. As for the whole back flip, kick the chick off the bike stunt - well come on!

Why do they waste their money producing movies that are like watching video games - with a plot that describing as unsubstantial is being kind, stunts that involve more computer power than mechanical power, character depth exceeded by comic book characters???

Makes no sense to me.......but hey, I suppose I am of the generation that stupidly appreciates a good story line, real action sequences, real actors/actresses, value for money and a lasting experience. Silly me.
This all stems from Hollyweirds obscession with sfx.Why write a good screen play when you can make something explode. It's gotten to the point that the ignorant public think that what they see is real,as is evidenced by the comments you get from bystanders at car accidents: " we had to run in case the car exploded"
The Simpsons never fail to take advantage of an opportunity to take the piss out of this, they have had shopping trollies, rubbish bins, kids trollies and a milk tanker explode.
