Well this coming weekend the powerball is 14.5 exactly.

I don't normally play lotto but I think I might by a ticket this weekend. :hbd:
Go for it, especially if you're not normally a lotto participant...what could it hurt this once??? 14.5 million if you don't give it a crack!! :hbd:

You'd be better approaching the "Reality TV" people ( Sth Pacific ??) to set up a "The Contenders" type programme. 6 riders provided with F3 (or whatever) bikes + running costs paid and filmed training, maintaining & riding bikes etc. etc. for a race season.
The rider with the most victories at the end of the season wins the prize .... say a fully sponsored year in F1.
A dream !!! .... but more likely to happen than winning lotto & more exposure to potential sponsors - even if you don't win.

    Just a thought..

As most of you will know by now... the 14.5 went to one winner. The ticket was bought just down the road from me, but it was not me.... I'm a little dissappointed (sp).... However, the weekend took a serious downturn after one of our two cats (brothers) was killed on Sunday by a car.

I've never had to bury a family pet and I'll admit it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Sarah is really upset and I must say ... so am I.

It's funny how attached you get to pets huh?

I don't feel like being at work today ...........

I so wanted to win that $14.5 million - we got two numbers, plus the bonus number AND powerball - so no dosh!

Sad news about your cat, that's one thing I love about living in the country - the cats have more chance of living. We do have someone's cat in our garden though - it was run over outside the neighbour's and they thought it was ours. We asked around for a day or so but no one knew where it came from (lovely grey cat, definitely not a stray) so we buried it under a tree. We haven't got any of our pets buried here (only been here two and a half years) but we do have several sheep and lambs! We learned very quickly to dig a sheep-shaped hole as it takes less effort...
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

    What the hell is that?
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Mate, If I'd won the money, you wouldn't need to go on KB to hear it. You'd have to be overseas not to hear me.
    Motorbike Camping for the win!
