    But.....but.....ain't that dishonest?
Nice panniers and bags, I still prefer less girth as the last girlfriend told me...
More reason now to carry more and more.....Now instead of a little coffee mill/plunger you can take the whole cafe with you...

Pinged for customs or duty? Motorbike parts are generally duty free...

But it's worth the wait, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
You can look (no touching though ) at mine if yours haven't turned up by Labour w/end. Thanks for putting me onto them.

Yeah... I've been struggling with it a bit, but I figure if I utter a few hail marys and bow to the sun at the crack of dawn I should be sweet
It's just as well there's plenty of compression straps, means I don't have to fill em up too much. But the option is there if I need to carry excess crap I don't need and will never use.
I trust things are going well for you mate

GST + Import transaction fee (+gst) + Biosecurity levy (+gst) But that's o.k.... I probably should have bought them off the local supplier and done the economy a favour.... oh... hang on ....

Got the bags today. Never had any tracking nos or other confirmation. They just turned up. Got thru customs unscathed too.... Very pleased with them. The material is much more heavy duty than I thought they'd be.

That was my initial impression. It should soften with time I guess ?
Weather looks a bit dodgy this w/end... I think I'll go see if they're waterproof

    Bit damp round the edges...

So our afternoon drinking a shiraz and eating interesting cheeses to celebrate the young-fella-from-next-door's PhD was a good choice...

    Yeah..... Naah....
I'm going to stop calling it "the brick" and call it "the cheese" from now on, cause it's going to take a while

Looks like a good spot to pick some herbs.

    Mosko bags

I've been looking at those Backcountry bags too JATZ - looks like they sit pretty high in your pic?

BTW, in an email to Moskomoto they mentioned their flat-rate $100 freight charge to NZ 'may' be the same for more than one set of bags; so anyone else in top-of-the-south island interested PM and we could bulk order

It's just the way that Jatz has set up the 'wedge' & how much he compressed the rolltop. Here's mine
