Where to prak a bike when I have no gargre

I'm buying a bike at the same time as building a garage.
    So what are people's suggestion?
Where do I park the bike? and can I get something like a cover to throw over it on days I don't ride it? until my gargre is finished?

I've had a similar sort of problem --- new bike - barn full of daughter's stuff - just went to my local bike store and got a custom cover to protect the bike until the daughter [her goods, chattles, boxes, barrels, packing cases and miscellaneous bits and pieces] moves out [in two weeks time :hbd: ] ........ sorry - strayed a bit off topic there

however - the purpose of this post was to tell you that a] covers ARE available [yes, in NZ too - 'cause that's where the suggestion originally came from] and b] they aren't expensive and c] we've had some wild weather since i got mine and it's working just fine

that's it - sorry for the wombling on.............

On your covered back garden deck up against the house so it stays dry when it rains.
    Garden shed.
    Kids play hut.
A breathable bike cover with the bike standing on concrete to reduce moisture coming up from below.

If none of the above work. You could always park in inside on top of some black plastic sheeting with some ancient carpet on top to keep the side stand from ripping a hole.

    Horse.

Yeah - and you can join in the chase scenes if you make the engine noises (starting the motor just drowns out the telly I find...)
