    The 80/20 Rule

80% of tickets written for motorcyclists are for speed.

    Imagine that.

And 20% of police that pull up motorcyclists are arseholes?

Since you only posted half of the equation, thought I'd better finish it for you.

    And?

I don't tend to run red lights or fail to give way because I could end up getting hurt. In fact I pretty much follow all the road rules when riding apart from one because there is a time and a place when 1km/h above a certain arbitrary limit does not mean certain death.

    Imagine that.

    But nice troll anyway.

    Sounds reasonable to me.

One could conclude that they need to raise the speed limit for motorcycles to 120kph on the open road.

Maybe I should run for Parliament this year.

Zero... because you can't be at AND above at the same time.

And a couple of years ago you told us that only 15% of the tickets you write were for speed. So now you are saying that motorcyclists generally obey all the accident causing rules but break the one where they are safest?

Social experiment time? Where is the big stirring spoon smiley thing when ya need it.

Are 80% of you fullas are assigned to sit on the side of the road specifically targeting speeders....
I think someone wasted their time chewing those numbers (although I would have thought it would have been higher than 80% considering...)
