i cant understand why people let rego's lapse its so easy to put them on exemption
It's a sad state of affairs when people are considering that CHEAP. Isn't it generally accepted that the 350 was utter shite? Of course anything that says "Honda CB" is now, for some reason, worth about 3x what any sane person would pay.
I bid on it but did the math and withdrew.
It is "cheap" if you are prepared to punt on it AND it runs.
Its in pretty average cosmetic condition and the motor is a complete unknown quantity.
At the very least it is a a complete stripdown and rebuild: Even if you did it all yourself including the painting I reckon you would kiss five or six k goodbye.
great basis for a wee project but often cheap is not cheap.

The old man has one, I used to ride it 20 years ago revy for the 70's machine but kind of sewing machine like in its inspirational quantises.
Sounded ok with a 400/4 4 into 1.
The 400/4 was a different beast amazing what a difference a few mm in the bore makes...........

Kinky is using a feather. Perverted is using the whole chicken
I remember the CB350/4 had a couple of mentions in a best/worst bike list in a magazine I've still got somewhere, they went vaguely like 'riding this bike was like wading through deep water, or one of those terrible dreams where you are trying to run away from something and making no progress whatsoever' and 'what a shitbox'
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

For a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.Keep an open mind, just dont let your brains fall out.
The first bike I ever rode on. A school mate gave me a pillion on it after school one day. I was terrified! Still hate being a pillion and haven't done it for about 35 years.
Grow older but never grow up
that ones's a bit of a hybrid - paint is 400/4 colour, no idea what the pipe is but the big difference between 350 and 400 is the 4 pipes on the 350....
amusingly, because every man and his dog wants a mint - and stock - 400/4, there's quite a bit of hot up stuff appearing on ebay and going cheap as there's no demand...
The one on the bench at the moment is going to be quick - and not too expensive either.
According to Wiki ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CB350F ( yes I know they're not totally accurate) tell us production was between '72 and '74. The early models were (and still are) collectable ... and as with most motorcycle models ... the later models (of ANY bike) were seldom were collectable.
The CB350 twins were faster ...

Slightly off topic, mate had a CBX250, single with the four valve head, remember at the time it seemed such an impressive beast of a bike lol
