what a joke anybody in NZ dissing Dunedin because its cold boo fucken hoo put some man pants on or move to Aus, Sydney or Hawaii is far better than anywhere in NZ so if you want heat go there, a lot of people live here as a lifestyle choice, a couple of hrs away from world class skifields, fishing lakes and waterskiing, housing is cheap, so cheap i have 3 and will be buying another later in the year, we dont have graffiti, a real gang problem, and no real racial problems, your kids can walk down the road wearing red or blue and not get hassled by gangster fuckwits, we dont have traffic jams, so what if its slightly colder than the Nth Island, who gives a fuck. Because of the University and the Dental school we have a top class Hospital and sporting amenities . All you arseholes breaking your necks to live in Wellington or Auckland because its warmer you have more pollution, more traffic woes and way dearer housing, every day we hear on the media of shitty old houses in mediocre areas on the market for 6 to 8 hundred thousand in Auckland you cant afford to buy so you have to pay massive rents, for what your paying in Auckland for some dump you could have this....http://www.trademe.co.nz/property/re...............or this....http://www.trademe.co.nz/property/re...3347.htm....or this......http://www.trademe.co.nz/property/re...7.htm.......or this.....http://www.trademe.co.nz/property/re....htm........or this........http://www.trademe.co.nz/property/re..............any way think what you like but dont believe what you see on the tv temperatures about our weather etc, you dont want to live here thats fine stay where you are but dont be thinking where you live is any better than here

That's just being silly ... it only went below minus 10 twice this years. The first was between early March and mid June. The second was between early July and (probably) end of August ...

We do, it's just that we tend to clean it off fairly quick smart. We're not immune to fuckwits who tag, smash bus shelters, or dump carcasses in the town belt unfortunately. There's fuckwits everywhere though.

To be fair, I haven't got a clue where New Plymouth is other than on the left hand side ish of the north island. But that link has tempted me to go for a visit >

    Bank on it

funny how JimO turned it into some flag waving contest........
My daughter goes to uni in Dunedin....
had her car vandalised last week.....again
Also heard on the news how couple of girls got beaten badly in Dunedin....

But most of all I dont get how calling a place cold got such reactions......
I also lived in Te Anau....which was not as cold
    neither was Christchurch...
Alaska ...where I also lived....on the other hand was a lot colder.

The difference was that if you say that Alaska is cold, nobody will throw their toys out of the pram.....
unless JimO moves over there that is..........
