Note to self: must spend more time practising low speed skills...

I reckon he'd have done better without a helmet , they affect your balance and peripheral vision, and they don't really help much in an accident, it's just the gummermint trying to control us again.

He would knock the basic handling skills test right out of the park with those skillz. That puts my tyre warming slalom exercise to shame.

Yer not wrong. Regular practice sends the skill levels through the roof. And takes away the fear of wobbling around on a big bike.
Oh, that regular practice will also leave your tires completely chicken strip free, front and back.

Good skills. Does any club run events like these in NZ? Should be cheap enough if you can find a big enough paved area to use.

I've only ever seen one off events.
All you need is an empty car park, some cones and a stop watch. There is an online competition where you submit a video of your run on a set course. The courses are gradually being added to.

Would love to see it take off down here. Very cheap thrills.

In hindsight I'm surprised NASS & SASS aren't all over it.

Very good skills -I'd flip off! Good way to scrub in the tyres. Interested if they use tyre warmers first?
