    EXC Launch Control

Anyone had any luck finding a Holeshot device for a KTM EXC? I have an '08 and am struggling to find something that fits. Having never had one before, am I right in thinking its because of the fork guard 'slider' at the base of the fork tube?

So what does a holeshot device actually do?

I don't ride motorcross so aren't likely to ever buy one, but I've seen them advertised and was curious as to what it was and what it does.

It's a device that holds the front suspension in a compressed state in order to reduce the tendency for the front end to lift when launching off the line.

Braking at the first corner releases the device and the suspension works as normal after that.
