Auckland workshops and suspension gurus?

I have a 2014 KTM 300EXC (mine) and a 2014 KTM 250EXC-F for the missus to start out on.
I plan on doing most of my own work on the 2T and basic maintenance on the 4T, but have never owned a 4T.

Where do you guys take your bikes to get the suspension done and the bike serviced etc. if you don't do it yourself?
For those of you riding KTM's, where do you get your parts, powerparts etc. from?

Unfortunately I have not had such good luck with a few crowds, anyone I should avoid or who you can recommend?
I have only heard good things about Watson Racing in Kumeu, and after chatting on the phone they seem to know their stuff.
Their prices seem pretty good too, unlike some others who charge a whole lot for not much.
Would rather support an outfit that deserves the business, no use paying for bad service and even worse customer service.
I am riding out at Woodhill at the moment (so I go past Watsons) but will head down to Thundercross to check it out when they open soon.

Cyclespot Euro have helped me out a couple of times and even pulled a part off a showroom bike to he!p me go riding when they didn't have what I wanted in stock. Not used their mechanical services though. Everyone swears by Spectrum over the road for that. For suspension, pop in and see Greg at Proride Suspension on your way to Woodhill, knows WP suspenders inside and out.

What Jay said, I looked into parts from overseas but have not really had the need to buy from there, the EXC's need bugger all maintenance and the parts required are well priced here. Get Greg to set up your suspension as a priority, it makes a huge difference to your ability to enjoy the bikes.

Mr motorcycles in pukekohe are ktm now, I'd try them good guys.

The blokes i ride with get their stuff from boyds in Hamilton, never heard a complaint yet.

Thanks everyone, will give Greg a shout for suspension and check out the rest.
I probably spend way too much on my bikes which is probably my biggest problem.

Found James from the Cyclespot Euro workshop to be particularly clued up and helpful.
Also Owen to be particularly helpful on the sales side and Daniel on the parts, but I think they are just way too busy.
I have also only heard good things about Spectrum but I think they are Kawasaki dealers.
Cant be bothered with buying overseas if theres not much in it and I would rather support the local guys.
Just bought a fan kit for my 250EXC-F, a whopping $320 (with 10% discount) from Cyclespot Euro.
I'm a mech engineer so figure I could have built it myself, priced the SPAL fan and the same waterproof model is around the $250 mark!
Thats not including the mounting bracket, plugs, wiring and in-line thermocouple that all just drops straight into the bike.

Sometimes you think KTM stuff is expensive but if you take a look at the quality of the parts they supply you can see why.

Don't worry about what Spectrum sell, they will work on any bike.

I have used Matt at Watson racing for many years. Great guy very helpful. Has a good reputation as a suspension guru too

Watson Racing are excellent. Matt knows his stuff - does all our suspension on our bikes.
Can get ktm parts through him too.

Matt knows what he is doing suspension wise, afther all he learnt his trade from norm cobb who has been around for a long while.
